It was supposed to be the next challenge for the champion after his successful title defence against Sean Strickland at UFC 312. Lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett has his eyes on welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, and former light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira teased fans with an Easter bunny appearance, showing how powerful he is.

South African camp has not given the complete details of Dricus Du Plessis' injury, but the setback appears to have opened the door for Brazilian contender Caio Borralh, who has challenged Khamzat Chimaev to a fight for the interim middleweight championship. Reports say Khamzat Chimaev is willing to fight Borralho, but the UFC has not announced the pairing.
Paddy Pimblett reveals ambitions for the welterweight divisionLiverpool's Paddy Pimblett, currently riding a seven-fight win streak in the UFC's lightweight division, has declared his intentions to eventually move up and challenge for the welterweight title. Appearing on "It's Time with Bruce Buffer," Pimblett stated, "Maybe after taking the 155 belt I'll take the 170 one... I can see myself doing it, especially in the years to come when you get a bit older and the weight cut gets a bit harder."

The outspoken fighter specifically mentioned current welterweight champion Belal Muhammad as his target, suggesting he's looking for "superfights" that "can sell pay-per-views" once he accomplishes his lightweight goals.

The former light heavyweight champion proved that he is still one of the most dangerous strikers in combat sports, even in a fluffy white costume, by delivering a body shot in a video released by Full Send MMA on Instagram that left a padded YouTuber crumpled in pain.
