Uttarakhand Board 2025: 90.77% pass for Class 10, 83.23% for Class 12

UBSE 2025 result out: The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), Ramnagar (Nainital), has officially declared the results for the High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations for the academic session 2025. The announcement was made on April 19, 2025, following the completion of the board examinations held earlier this year.

This year, the performance of students across both classes has shown a marked improvement compared to previous years. Along with the main results, the board also released the results for the Result Improvement Examination (Second) Year 2024. Both Class 10 and 12 results are now available on the official websites for students to access.

Class 10 sees impressive pass percentage
A total of 1,13,238 students registered for the Class 10 examination, out of which 1,09,859 appeared. Of these, 99,725 students successfully passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 90.77%, which is 1.63% higher than the previous year. Girls outperformed boys with a pass rate of 93.25% compared to 88.20% among boys.

Among institutional candidates, the pass percentage stood at 91.23%, while for individual candidates it was significantly lower at 59.37%. District-wise, Champawat topped with a 96.97% pass rate.

Kamal Singh Chauhan from Vivekanand VMIC Mandalsera, Bageshwar, and Jatin Joshi from HGS SVM IC Kusumkhera, Haldwani, Nainital, jointly topped the Class 10 merit list with 496 out of 500 marks (99.20%). Kanaklata from Tehri Garhwal secured the second position and was also the highest-scoring girl, while Divyam, Priya, and Deepa Joshi jointly secured third position with 494 marks.

Class 12 results reflect strong academic achievement
In the Intermediate examination, 1,08,980 students registered, and 1,06,345 appeared. A total of 88,518 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 83.23%. Girls again outshone boys with a pass rate of 86.20%, compared to 80.10% for boys.

The top performer was Anushka Rana from Govt. Inter College Badasi, Dehradun, scoring 493 out of 500 (98.60%). Keshav Bhatt and Komal Kumari followed closely with 489 marks each, while Ayush Singh Rawat ranked third with 484 marks.

Pithoragarh district recorded the highest pass percentage among Class 12 districts at 91.90%.

Result improvement exams also declared
UBSE also released results for the Result Improvement Examination (Second) Year 2024. In Class 10, 268 out of 436 candidates passed (61.46%). For Class 12, 360 of 715 candidates cleared the exam, recording a 50.35% success rate.
