Russian forces rained hell on four Ukrainian cities with drone strikes overnight, just hours after US President Donald Trump's peace talks with Russian despot Vladimir Putin.
Ukraine's Air Force said that Moscow's military launched 85 drone attacks targeting Sumy, Donetsk, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk, all close to the frontlines. Kyiv's forces added that they successfully destroyed 61 of the drones launched. The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported that 139 clashes had occurred between Ukrainian and Russian troops on Friday.

The Russian Defence Ministry claimed it had destroyed 29 Ukrainian drones fired at 10 Russian regions on the same night.
Before talks between Trump and Putin had commenced in Alaska on Friday, Ukraine conducted a long-range drone attack on a supply ship in the Caspian Sea.
Kyiv claimed the ship was carrying drone components from Iran. Tehran has aided Putin's invasion of Ukraine by supplying drones to Moscow's forces.
Trump and Putin left Alaska on Friday without a peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine; however, the US President said he and Putin had made "great progress" following the talks.
Putin said the negotiations were "held in a constructive atmosphere" and implied an agreement had been reached that "will pave the path towards peace."
The Russian president also suggested that the two leaders hold their next meeting in Moscow, to which Trump replied he'd "get a little heat on that one, but I could see it possibly happening."
During a press conference after the meeting, Trump was asked if he had any advice for Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
He said: "Make the deal... It's really up to President Zelensky to get it done.
"And I would also say the European nations, they have to get involved a little bit, but it's up to President Zelensky...Russia's a very big power."
