
shoppers have reacted positively to a surprise offer in the store's famous meal deal. Some regulars are only just realising you can choose an ice lolly as part of the supermarket meal deal, reported. In a recent post on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, one keen Tesco patron shared a photo showing it is possible to choose an for the snack element of a meal deal.
The supermarket charges £4 for a main, snack and drink combination, reduced to £3.60 for those with a Tesco Clubcard. Ice lollies such as Twisters and Mini Pops are included in the meal deal, which the photo posted on the group shows.
The poster added: "Tesco are now doing ice lollies in the meal deal (not sure if new this year or if I'm late to the party). Down in the Clubcard section of the freezers."
Many members of the group were keen to take advantage of the offer, with one shopper commenting "love this!".
Another added: "I need to go there."
Tesco shoppers should also be aware that Clubcard vouchers will expire on May 31st if they are not used.
Vouchers can be redeemed in Tesco stores or used with the brand's reward partners, where their value could even be doubled.
Shoppers in Tesco get one Clubcard point for every £1 spent on groceries in store and online, as well as one point for every two litres of fuel purchased at a Tesco petrol station.
