Teddington School in South-west London was abruptly shut down this morning, with a significant police and ambulance presence reported on the scene.
Pupils were dismissed from the school just before 9am, leaving parents anxiously awaiting information regarding the sudden closure. The school has yet to disclose details about the incident.
One concerned parent took to social media to share: "Teddington school closed with police and ambulance in attendance. No clear answer. Lots of police and ambulances in attendance. Maybe the outside of the school is blocking entry. All that's certain is closed all day."
They further added: "I am now hearing many ambulances. All the kids have been sent home. It was early, before most of them had arrived."
