The right lamp can transform the ambience of any room, and a fan favourite has returned to Marks and Spencer just in time for longer evenings.
The popular Checkerboard Table Lamp sold out six times during last year's autumn and winter periods, and has just been restocked, with more colour combinations to choose from, reports MyLondon.
The lamp costs £49.50 and comes in three variants: a pink and teal, a burnt orange, and a blue option. It has a ceramic cubic base with a checkerboard pattern, and a tapered lampshade with a scalloped trim.
Its unique design makes it the perfect addition to any bedroom or living room. and can serve as both a lighting source and a decorative statement piece.
Fans of the lamp love the design, with one saying it's "a welcome change from the more conventional lamps in my house."
Another shopper said this is the"second time I have purchased so now have matching pair," adding they "love the colours and design".
A third review said this is a "fabulous statement lamp that adds a cosy glow to our living room."
"The texture is a nice touch and looks great both on and off," another shopper said. "My sister wants one now, too."
This eye-catching lamp is most suitable for those who love a bit of drama in their interior styling, so it can be quite limiting for those who prefer a more minimal approach.
But fans are saying it looks "so different and so attractive," with one saying she bought it for her daughter and "all her 20-something friends now want one".
