The and have arrived at the Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor alongside their son, James, Earl of Wessex. Appearing alongside other members of the Royal Family, the pair appeared in high spirits as they made their way into the church.

The couple's appearance comes just weeks after they were alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla in London on March 10. The royal couple were excused from the event as it fell on Edward's 61st birthday.

Despite it being a royal fixture, the event also took place as Sophie was due to travel to America to carry out engagements in New York City.

Despite it being spring, Duchess Sophie made sure to keep warm as she donned a long burgundy coat.

The 60-year-old paired the look with her staple nude-coloured Jimmy Choo heels. Sophie previously wore them in Nepal and also during her recent trip to Brussels.

Sophie appeared to conclude her look with the Sophie Habsburg 'Lunatic Caviar' clutch - which is also available in burgundy and black.
