Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s public grievance hearing, scheduled for coming Monday on September 22, has been suspended in view of the ongoing monsoon session of the Assembly.
According to the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, the hearing will not be held on the scheduled date on September 22 as the Chief Minister will be engaged in legislative responsibilities.
The next date for the grievance hearing will be announced later through newspapers and other media channels, it said.
The Chief Minister’s grievance hearings have been a key platform for citizens to directly raise their issues and seek redressal.
Notably, the hearing was also suspended last five Mondays (August 18, August 25, September 1, September 8 and September 15) owing to other pressing official commitments.
