Mock drill district name list: The Government of India will conduct a nationwide mock drill in 244 districts across the country on May 7. This is the first major mock drill since 1971. There has been tension between India and Pakistan since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. This tension between the two countries is increasing every day. Meanwhile, the Indian government has made it clear that it will definitely take revenge for the Pahalgam attack. In this connection, a mock drill is going to be held in 244 districts across the country on May 7. This is the first such drill after 1971. Recently, from PM Modi to Home Minister Amit Shah, all three army chiefs have met. This is the reason why a huge force has been deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. A list has come out regarding the mock drill. Which includes the names of 244 districts across the country. Full preparations have been started in these districts from today itself.
There will be a blackout during this mock drill. This means that at the time of the attack, the lights of all houses, offices and public places will be turned off. Along with this, sirens will also be played loudly. On hearing the siren, people will have to be alert and reach safe places. Citizens will be given training to survive during the attack.
The measures to be taken during the drill include operating air raid warning sirens and training citizens on security aspects to protect themselves in case of any attack.
High level meeting continuesA meeting is going on in the Home Ministry today (6 May) for the mock drill to be held tomorrow. DG NDRF, DG Home Guard, DG Fire attended it. Officials related to railways and air security are also present. SDRF has started preparations for the mock drill in Srinagar.

KarnatakaApart from these, model drills will be conducted in Chandigarh, Durg (Bhilai) of Chhattisgarh, Dadra (Silvassa) of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman of Daman and Diu, Puducherry, Shimla of Himachal Pradesh, Delhi (including New Delhi and Delhi Cantonment), Andaman-Nicobar Port Blair, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh, Agartala of Tripura, Dehradun districts of Uttarakhand.
