Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. He had been battling age-related health issues and was admitted to the hospital last week. Known affectionately as "He-Man," Dharmendra was one of the fittest and most prolific actors in Bollywood, with a career spanning over 300 films.
His entire family, including wife Hema Malini, sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and daughter Esha Deol, were present during his final moments. Several Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, and Ameesha Patel also visited the hospital to pay their respects and inquire about his health.
Sharing a photo of Dharmendra on social media, Hema Malini wrote, "I thank everyone for their concern for Dharam ji. He is under observation at the hospital. He is being regularly monitored, and we are all with him. I urge you all to pray for his well-being and speedy recovery."
Dharmendra’s legacy as a legendary Bollywood hero and beloved public figure will always be remembered, marking the end of an era in Indian cinema.
