Thomas Skinnerhas broken his silence on his cheating scandal, sharing a reflective post on X before swiftly deleting it.
The Apprentice star, 34, who is set to appear on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, admitted that his “fling” with aesthetician Amy-Lucy O’Rourke was a “moment of madness” that nearly “ruined his life.”
The controversial reality TV star, who married Sinead in May 2022, cheated just weeks after their wedding day. Amy-Lucy, 35, said the affair lasted three months, though Thomas described it as a brief “two-week thing.”
"I had a fling. It was nothing more than that. It was the one time, it was a mistake. I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty. I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn't thinking, where I didn't appreciate what I had," he told.

In his now-deleted X post, Thomas shared a picture of a dinner Sinead had made him as she gushed about their marriage and his 'beautiful wife'.
Alongside the snap of his dinner, the Strictly star swooned: "My beautiful wife Sinéad has made me chicken n cus cus salad. Had a full day of training at Strictly that my legs are burning, but honestly enjoying it so much.
"When you make a mistake no matter how long ago or how big or small. There are only three things you should do about it: admit it, learn from it, and definitely don’t repeat it." Thomas also opened up about the public backlash he has faced since the news of his affair became public.
"My life ain't perfect…far from it. I’ve made big mistakes, I’ve let people down, and done things I'll always regret in my past… I’ve noticed I’m being portrayed as public enemy number 1. They’re trying to break me and get me cancelled. And if I’m honest, I’m not sure why," he wrote on X over the weekend.

Despite the scandal, Thomas has praised the support and forgiveness of his wife. He confessed on social media: "I told her straight away. She had every right to leave me back then, but she forgave me… and that forgiveness changed my life.
"Since then, we’ve built a new home, had two more beautiful children, and moved forward together. We are stronger. Family is everything to me. It’s what I do everything for."
The star also hinted that more revelations could come but stressed his commitment to positivity. "I know what it’s like to be low and down on luck… I still graft, I still go to work. In fact I’ve been working this morning before I start Strictly training."
Thomas and Sinead, who share son Henry, 5, and twin daughters Roma and Darla, 2, met in London in 2018. The Apprentice star then proposed in July 2020, three months after the couple announced they were expecting their first child.
