The comedian and actor stars in a newBBCTwo series, Rob Brydon's Honky Tonk Road Trip, where he explores the southern states of America to celebrate 100 years of country music.
Throughout the three-part series, Rob will meet stars, explore the music genre's roots, and dive straight into its culture.

As we welcome him back to our TV screens, here we take a look at Rob's life away from the cameras...
Rob was born in Baglan, Glamorgan, in May 1965 to parents Joy and Howard.
His mother was a schoolteacher, while his father worked as a car dealer. Rob has a younger brother, Peter, who was born in 1973.
Rob attended two private schools before transferring to Porthcawl Comprehensive School at the age of 14. It was here that he met Ruth Jones, with whom he later worked on Gavin and Stacey. The pair also studied with Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Rob went on to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff. He left after a year to join Radio Wales at the age of 20.
CareerRob launched his career on BBC Radio Wales, where he spent six years. During this time, he worked as a disc jockey, hosted his own shows, and starred in comedy shows. He also became a stand-in presenter for other radio hosts.
In the 1990s, he briefly worked as a presenter for the Home Shopping Network and also began doing voice-over work, with Rob's voice having been used in a string of commercials over the years.
The BBC TV comedy Human Remains marked Rob's big break. He co-wrote the show with Julia Davis and also starred in it. Rob then starred in the comedy Marion and Geoff.
His career soon took off, and he starred in A Cock and Bull Story and Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive, and took part in shows such as I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.
Arguably, the role for which he is most recognised, Rob was cast as Uncle Bryn in the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey in 2007, which proved to be a major career moment for the actor.

Since 2009, Rob has hosted the game show Would I Lie to You? and has appeared on other shows, including QI and Have I Got News for You.
In addition to TV and radio, Rob has starred in plays such as The Painkiller and released his first book, Small Man in a Book, in 2011. In the world of film, Rob has appeared in the likes of Days of the Bagnold Summer, Early Man, and Swimming with Men.
In more recent years, Rob has starred in Barbie and Prime's My Lady Jane, and also became the host of BBC One game show Destination X.
FamilyRob's first marriage was to Martina Fitchie. The pair tied the knot in 1992, but they divorced in 2000.
Rob shares two daughters, Amy and Katie, as well as a son, Harry, with Martina.

In 2006, Rob married his second wife, Clare Holland, who is a former producer on The South Bank Show. The pair's wedding took place at a church in Windsor, Berkshire.
Rob and Claire reside in Strawberry Hill and share two sons, Tom and George.
