It's bad news for Coronation Street fans tonight as their Wednesday trip to Weatherfield has been cancelled, as ITV has a huge event taking up the schedule from 8pm.
Tonight marks the 30th National Television Awards which will be broadcast live from the O2 London tonight. Coronation Street will of course be up for best serial drama, but fans will have to wait until Friday for the latest drama on the street.
The ITV soap last aired on Monday, with fans left in shock when Tyrone Dobbs was hit by a car in shocking scenes. To avoid Betsy in the precinct, a car swerved and ended up hitting Tyrone - before the driver drove away in a hit and run.

The storyline is set to take a devastating turn for Tyrone, as he will face a long road to recovery following a spinal injury.
However, it wasn't the only major cliffhanger fans were left facing, with a surprise return from Lisa Swain's ex wife Becky, who was believed to be dead.
"Hello Lis...'" she said as she walked through the door, causing Lisa to dramatically drop her glass of wine. Fans were left on the edge of their seats, but unfortunately they have two more days to wait to find out what happens next in both of the shock storylines.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan angry fan penned: "So we’ve got no #Corrie Wednesday because of NTA’s that nobody watches or cares about!" Another wrote: "Of all the weeks for Becky to come back it's this week the #NTA are on so no #Corrie till Friday!"
A third was left majorly disappointed that Corrie were leaving them with one less episode, tweeting: "#Corrie can’t even be bothered to put rescheduling up for tonight being cancelled."
For those gutted to be missing out on Corrie tonight, next weeks drama is sure to make up for it if thespoilers are anything to go by.
Fresh from finding out this week that Becky faked her death, her dumbstruck wife Lisa takes matters into her own hands.
Later, Lisa barges into Costello's office and demands full answers or she will take Becky's fake death story to the press - but what will he tell her? Betsy still doesn't know the truth, as Lisa warns her to stay away from their daughter. But will she listen?
Fans will have to tune in next week to see what happens...
