Coldplay frontman Chris Martin issued a warning about the jumbotron after Astronomer's ex-CEO and HR Head were allegedly seen on the big screen at a recent gig. The duo were seemingly oblivious to all but the music as he embraced the woman from behind, moving in sync with the band's live performance.
However, when they realised their embrace was being shown on the big screen, they quickly disentangled themselves as he rushed to duck out of the spotlight. Chris then humorously remarked after spotting them on the screen, "Oh look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they're just really shy." The moment quickly went viral on social media and was seen millions of times.

Following the awkward moment at the gig, Coldplay returned to the stage on July 19 at the Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. Frontman Chris didn't directly refer to the incident but made a joke about the jumbotron.
"We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen. How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen," he said.
He added: "Please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now!” Fans loved how he handled the situation and rushed to social media to share their thoughts.
One user said under a video of his warning: "Love his sense of humour. Well played," and another added: "Hahaha love how he is smiling while saying this!"
"I wondered what they would do after the incident!" one shared.
Meanwhile, the CEO released a statement shared on LinkedIn and X. They said: "As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding.
"Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met. Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.
"The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO. Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI.
"While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We're continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data and AI problems."
