Glenn Maxwell Joins Preity Zinta’s Fitness Venture

The Australian all-rounder has officially entered the Indian startup ecosystem by investing in Drive FITT, a sports-fitness startup co-founded by Preity Zinta. The company also boasts Shubman Gill and Australian entrepreneurs Mark Sellers and Dek Smith as stakeholders.

Maxwell called the startup a perfect blend of his passions — cricket, performance, and recovery. “Drive FITT is my passion project. It’s a place where performance, recovery, and cricket come together,” said Maxwell.

In his first ever investment in India, Maxwell emphasized that it wasn’t just the business potential that drew him in. “The numbers didn’t attract me—the people did. For me, it’s about creating real impact, especially for athletes who want to train smarter and recover better,” he said.
