Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bounced back in style with a seven-wicket win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 37 of IPL 2025, played on Sunday at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur in a match which was a reverse fixture between both teams.
Just two days ago, PBKS had beaten RCB in a rain-hit 14-over game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. But this time, RCB turned the tables and made sure to even the score in the return fixture.
After securing the win, RCB had a little fun on social media. They responded to an old tweet from Bollywood actor Salman Khan, posted back in 2014, where he had asked: “Zinta's team won kya?”
RCB replied with a witty comeback: “Sorry bhai, not today.” The tweet quickly went viral, and fans loved the playful jab at PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta’s team.
