Pakistan has successfully conducted a training launch of its Fatah series surface-to-surface missile, which has a range of 120 kilometers. The test, part of the ongoing "Exercise Indus," aimed to validate the missile's technical parameters and ensure operational readiness, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
This marks the second missile test by Pakistan in as many days, following the launch of the Abdali Weapon System on Saturday, May 2.

The missile tests come amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in Indian-administered Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people.
India has accused Pakistan-based groups of involvement, leading to a series of diplomatic and economic measures, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and the revocation of visas issued to Pakistani nationals.
As per reports, senior military officials, including Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, witnessed the Fatah missile launch and expressed confidence in the armed forces' preparedness to defend Pakistan's territorial integrity.
