Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A laborer died after an under construction house collapsed in Gwalior on Wednesday.
The laborer died after being buried under the debris of the roof, as the walls and roof collapsed due to the breaking of the pillar.
The fire brigade team, which reached the spot, removed the debris and took the laborer to the hospital, where doctor declared him dead. This incident took place behind the Asaram Bapu Ashram on the Agra-Mumbai National Highway (Shivpuri Link Road) in Gwalior.
Construction work of a house is going on on Sonu Sen's plot behind the Asaram Bapu ashram. Deceased Narendra (40), son of Ganpat Singh Kirar, resident of Naka Ladhedi Sati Vihar, was working as a laborer in the construction work of the house.
He reached work at 9 in the morning. At 12.30 pm, when light drizzle started, he stood under the recently laid roof and wall. At the same time, the pillar broke with a loud noise and the new roof collapsed.
Laborer Narendra Kirar got buried under the debris of the roof and wall. People present at the spot started the relief work. Also, the fire brigade department was informed for rescue. When the rescue team reached, there was a crowd around the house at the site of the incident, but neither the landlord nor other workers were there.
People told that a laborer is buried under the debris. Along with this, the work of removing the debris was done, but when the debris was removed, the laborer had died. After this, the police reached the spot. The police took the laborer to the hospital, where he was declared dead and kept in the dead house.

It has been found that water had settled in the under-construction house due to continuous rain. Due to which the newly built pillars, walls and roof could not become strong. Due to which it suddenly collapsed and a laborer lost his life.
