Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri, who was being hailed as 'national crush' until very recently, failed to impress the internet fashion police with her latest appearance. The actress attended the star-studded Maddock success bash in Mumbai on Monday, but she was trolled for her choice of outfit.
Triptii sashayed down the red carpet in a strapless black gown with ruffles and folds around the waist, but instead of accentuating her curves, the outfit made her lower body look bulky. She completed her look with dainty accessories and a bright red lipstick, and put her hair up in a casual bun.
As soon as videos of the actress posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet surfaced online, netizens expressed their disappointment over her sartorial choices, and suggested that she must fire her stylist. The common opinion on social media was that the gown made the Laila Majnu actress look 'pregnant'.
"Is she pregnant?", a user commented under her video on Instagram, while another wrote, "It seems like she is pregnant, for that outfit effect (sic)." "She is gorgeous, she needs to never hire the designer of this dress (sic)," a user opined.
The Maddock success bash was attended by some of the biggest names of the industry including Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon, Rashmika Mandanna, Ananya Panday, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and others.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Triptii has an impressive line-up of films in her kitty. She will be next seen in Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi. While the shoot of the film has been completed, it is reportedly embroiled in a row with the Censor Board.
The actress also has filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj's next, in which she will be seen sharing the screen with Shahid Kapoor for the first time.
