Mumbai: A high-level parliamentary delegation, led by Shiv Sena MP Dr Shrikant Shinde, met senior UAE officials in Abu Dhabi to convey India's stance against terrorism in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack. The outreach underlined how India gave a strategic and proportionate military response in the form of
Operation Sindoor. The UAE extended unequivocal support, reiterating its commitment to a shared global front against terrorism.
During the discussions, the Indian side reiterated the continued threat of terrorism emanating from Pakistan, stressing that India would remain vigilant and proactive in defending its sovereignty.
Shinde briefed the UAE leaders on India’s “swift and targeted retaliation” after the Pahalgam attack. He said that Operation Sindoor involved precised air strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
