Salman Khan teaming up with Atlee was undoubtedly something we all were looking forward to. There were even reports of Kamal Haasan and Rashmika Mandanna joining the cast. However, later there were reports that the film has been shelved due to budget issues. During a media interaction, before the release of Sikandar, Salman himself had confirmed that Atlee’s film is not happening due to budget issues. However, while the Dabangg star’s movie was shelved, Atlee on Tuesday, announced his new film with Allu Arjun which looks one of the grandest projects ever made in Indian cinema.
The filmmaker shared a video on social media, and captioned it as, “Happy Birthday @alluarjun sir, Love you sir Thank you Kalanithi Maran sir & @sunpictures for making my dream a reality Let’s have a blast GEAR UP #A22xA6.”

In the video, they show that for the movie's pre-production, Atlee and Allu Arjun flew to Los Angeles, USA, to meet an international VFX team that has worked on many Hollywood movies. The makers are calling the film ‘When Mass Meets Magic’, which has surely created a lot of curiosity among the audiences.
But, with Atlee planning such a grand film with Allu Arjun, we wonder what budget issues would be with Salman’s movie. Is Salman’s movies not doing well at the box office one of the reasons that Atlee couldn’t get a huge budget for the movie? Well, only Atlee can answer this.
Meanwhile, with the Pushpa franchise, Allu Arjun has become a pan-India star, and everyone is eagerly waiting for his next film. After Jawan, even Atlee has left a mark in the Hindi film industry, so the audience across the country and internationally is waiting for A22xA6.
