In a conversation with Instant Bollywood, Nikita Dutta talked about Jaideep Ahlawat's off-screen personality and said, "Off camera, Jaideep Ahlawat is not so serious. He is a really funny person. He helped me a lot during some difficult scenes in the film and I got to learn a lot from him.
There was a scene in the film where I was holding a cigarette and being a non-smoker, I was facing a challenge in that scene. I was being cautious about how to hold it, where to smoke, how it would look on camera, and a lot more. Then Jaideep Ahlawat came comfortably and gave suggestions, which were quite easy to follow. It was really surprising. He comes quietly and gives suggestions politely and easily." 'Jewel Thief' will stream on Netflix from April 25

'Jewel Thief' stars Jaideep Ahlawat as Auluck, a powerful tycoon obsessed with acquiring Africa's most precious diamond, the Red Sun. Saif Ali Khan plays a mysterious thief who is hired by Auluck to help him steal the diamond. Kunal Kapoor will be seen in the role of a cop and Nikita Dutta as the female lead of the film. Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, 'Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins' will stream on Netflix from April 25.
