Renowned director Priyadarshan is currently busy with his upcoming Hindi film "Haiwaan." The film will star Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. In an interview, the filmmaker has finally given a major update about the film. He revealed that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be starring in the film. He also spoke about his character.

Priyadarshan Focuses on the Story
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Priyadarshan was asked if he was considering making a full-length film with Akshay and Mohanlal. Priyadarshan replied, "If you're asking me about 'Haiwaan,' Mohanlal is in it. However, I don't want to say what role he's playing. Whenever I make a film, it's the story that excites me. I never think about the cast."
Priyadarshan Doesn't Chase the Cast
Priyadarshan further added, "The first step to making a film is the script. Then come the actors. I can't say I'll make a film with Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar." If you make a film with actors in mind, you'll never get a script. Whenever you get a script, pursue the right actors. That's the right way to make a film. I've never chased stars to make a film.
