Feet Touching Rules: The tradition of touching feet in Hinduism is centuries old. It is a traditional way of expressing love, respect, and reverence towards elders. It is believed that touching one's feet brings good luck to a person and also increases their good deeds. Apart from this, touching feet leads to the exchange of positive energy, which has a direct effect on relationships. Not only this, whenever a person touches the feet of his teachers, he gets blessings in return, which brings him closer to success. But you don't need to get the desired blessings by touching everyone's feet. According to religious texts, touching feet has its importance and rules. You cannot touch everyone's feet; it is inauspicious. In such a situation, let us know whose feet a person should not touch.

Nephew-Niece - In today's time, it is seen that uncle and nephew live like friends, but as soon as they meet, they touch their feet. According to the scriptures, nephew-niece should not touch the feet of their maternal uncle and aunt. In the scriptures, a nephew and niece are considered worshipful, and if they touch the feet, then the uncle and aunt may commit a sin.
Virgo – According to astrology, no father should allow his daughter, niece, granddaughter, or granddaughter to touch his feet. They are all child forms of goddesses, who are said to be worshipful in Indian culture. In such a situation, if you allow them to touch your feet, then you become a part of sin.
Temple – In today's time, everyone has faith in God, and many people also go to the temple every day, but if you are in the temple and you meet an elder or a respectable person there, then you should first bow to God, because in the temple, there is no one greater than God. Touching someone's feet in front of God is considered an insult to the temple and God, and God gives inauspicious results instead of auspicious ones.
Crematorium – In Hinduism, it is believed that a person coming from the crematorium should not allow anyone to touch his feet. Even if the person touching your feet is much younger than you or works at a lower position than you. Doing so causes harm to oneself. Even in the scriptures, touching the feet of a person returning from a funeral is considered inauspicious. Everyone is equal in the crematorium.

Sleeping person – If a person is sleeping or lying down, then their feet should not be touched at all. It is believed that doing so reduces the age of that person. According to Vedic scriptures, only the feet of a dead person can be touched in a lying down position. Doing so is a sin.
