Kim Soo Hyun removed from Good Day MV teaser amid backlash

On April 15, 2025, the music video teaser for Good Day 2025 was released. The song is a remake of City Boys’ iconic 1988 hits Telepathy and By the Moon Lighted Window and has been produced by G-Dragon, who also served as the host of the show. The track was created through a collaboration with celebrities who appeared on the recent music variety show Good Day. However, Kim Soo Hyun was visibly missing from the teaser.

Good Day ends with its lowest ratings

Despite the show’s star-studded lineup and G-Dragon’s highly anticipated return to TV, Good Day has struggled with poor ratings. The last episode, which featured Kim Soo Hyun, recorded a dismal 2.7 per cent, the lowest of the show.

Many K-media outlets have linked the ratings drop to the backlash surrounding Kim Soo Hyun’s involvement.
